Air Handling Unit
An air handling unit commonly called an AHU, is the composition of elements mounted in large, accessible box-shaped units called modules, which house the appropriate ventilation requirements for purifying, air-conditioning, or renewing the indoor air in a building or premises. They are usually installed on the roof of buildings and, through ducts, the air is circulated to reach each of the rooms in the building in question.
- PANELS: 25mm thick Double skin with thermal profile with PUF insulation of density 40kg/m3, with mixing box.
- COIL: Air handling units with Coil section - 6/8 row deep DX coil with Hydrophilic coating. DX Coil should be UL certified for safety.
- DRAIN PAN: Made up of SS 304
- FAN: Nikotra or Kruger make Belt drove Fan with spring-type vibration isolators for reducing vibrations, Fan outlet velocity NMT 9 m/s for reducing noise
- MOTOR: TEFC Squirrel gauge IP 55 VFD Compatible induction motor, Siemens/Crompton/ABB make
- HEATERS: SS 304 finned type heaters as per designwill be controlled by PLC
- FILTERS: 50mm thick Pre-filter & 305mm thick Fine filter, 75mm thick Plasma filter, 15-watt Germicidal UV tubes with choke
- DAMPER: Manually operated Aluminium Supply air, Return air, Fresh air damper, Motorised aluminium damper for bypass pass air with actuator
